The show opens with a trio band comprised of young talents. Whilst tracing the history of jazz and inheriting its spirit, fox capture plan creates new sounds that fuse influences from post-rock, drum ’n’ bass, and dubstep into their jazz-rooted music. Their evolving world of sound is not-to-be-missed.

Kenny Barron Trio with special guest Gretchen Parlato

The great and eminent jazz pianist Kenny Barron performs at the festival this year with his own trio band, joined by a special guest Gretchen Parlato, a modern jazz songstress from New York, to bring the anticipated collaboration.

*Anthony Jackson and Simon Phillips, who were scheduled to take part in Hiromi The Trio Project, cancelled their performance due to health reasons. Hiromi will be playing on stage with Michel Camilo.
